47802 Passes though Carnforth Station with 6C53 to Sellafield from Crewe Running about 20 mintures early with 5 flasks the train was worked tosay the 3rd november by 37038 37194 37510 47237. Click on the image to see it a larger version. 1024*768 |

Shortly after the 47 had gone, we did not know if we had missed the sandite as it is normall earliy and was booked just before we got there, But in the end came 1 hour down with the sun out by this time and sat in the station for a bit in the sun. The 37's went into the loop for a few minutes to chnage ends ready to come back out and head once again upto Kingmoor via helifiled, This is one of the largest images i have ever uploaded to my site cause of webspace ect so may take a while to load, the image has not been edited apart from the slight watermark. One of the main reasons for heading to carnforth turned out to not be so good with the new Dreds not working its not looking good for DRS heritage traction and later in the day which was videoed 37610 taking 4 47's back to crewe which will go off lease. 37229 Sits in Preston station a few mintures down acording to trust 37029 was still on the train but was not and 37229 has been put back on which was a change form seeing 37029 again for the third time in two days. And the strage green light turned up on the bogies for sum reason onlt does it with sandite train lol will have to be edited out. Only one video from the day is one which is on the video page of 37610 47812 47815 47848 47843 on 0Z30 from Kingmoor back to carilsle as DRS do not need them any more, Which was two dark to photograph as we had left preston on the way home and ended up at layland but nice bit of thrash and horn!!
