Went down to Barrow Hill on Friday via a Doncaster to see a few trains on the way as well as what i would see over the weekend. Friday started of with 47851 47826 coming into doncaster with an ECS for a tour that they would work for the weekend. Then headed to sheffield to see class 20's in water cannon which i saw again at chesterfield. Which was not great as i did not have no tripod. Then during the early hours found out that 37410 was going past barrow hill so went across to the mainline to see it go past. 60062 was pulling the train but sounded nice and looked better. Also seen in 30 min's at 1am was 66249 and an 665. Saturday started slow with the steams getting fired up. A mainline charter came in at dinnertime and 20096 was used to move the ecs stock around the compound. As the day came to an end and everyone went 40013 fired but and thrashed like mad a quick run to see it and well worth it very impressive. Sunday came round just the normally steams working the shuttles till we had a hint that the 40 would be cranked up again so all the cameras came down to record the sounds ect which are on the video page. Well worth seeing and also have a flick though the pictures.
