Crewe And Shrewsbury

Photo Report

Just a few hours fots from today's jolt across to crewe and shrewsbury to see the class 37 tour and a few other things that are not seen in my area. Ended up turning out quite good with two 20's working out of three and two class 57/0ish working which are not rear to see and will be stored with in the next few months as new class 66ers get into the country. The driver of the 37 could not find the throttle so there is no videos today. Here's the fots.

First shot of the day and not a bad one a nice loco to see as there is only 12 and they are going into storage soon.

Second shot 57008 bought 66532 66573 into the buffers for the weekend (better shot from side as there was nothing in the way)

Just after coming out of WHSmiths and buying Railway Express with my first published image in 6K73 came with 20308 20309.

A cross over to shrewsbury for the scottish tractors first time i have seen 37405 since the S&C run finished and i cant remember the last time i saw 37401 as these two normal stick in scotland on the Fort W sleepers which have now finished with 37's.

Oh i get it send these two because they have plows well it ant snow what there needed for its the 6 feet high trees that need pushing over in the yard when running round.

37's move up to the point where they will reverse back onto the stock can see the bits on tress on 37405's front bogie.

Now after the 37's have changed tracks they reverse into the stock ready for the off. 37405 looking great with all the weathering on the front nose.

Thanks Oliver
