Class 50's At Preston
Pictures from David.C
As some of use still have to work hard in what ever we are doing
some people just get it easy. David .C went out to get some shots of the class
50's that have been on tour in scotland all weekend. They arrived twenty minutes
early but waited and left on time sounding great under the old victorian roof.
Not really a common site for 50's apart from bristol in recent years. Since
the WCML was eletrified in the first place pairs came as far as crewe as the
overhead wires ended at there, they where then moved down to the west country
when the WCML became elecftrified through out.
