8th 37422 37410 at Godnow Bridge with 6E02, Also 47813 put a skip got
in the way so no photo.
First shot of the day an not a bad one shame the sun had just come off
the front, 66003 passses on a fresh air liner to wakefield |
Followed shortly by 66535 on a Liner to Leeds |
67019 Out of a Route Refresher as it has been for a few weeks not departs
Doncaster |
47810 After shortly being started up is moved up to the singal after a
request from the driver thanks. |
47810 Thrashes away from the signal into Doncaster West Yard for 5Z86
to be shunted, After this i headed upto hexthorpe to see the 47 thrash out
but the weather decided to mess my shot up as normal with it being dull
as the 47 approched the sun just came out last seconds and this ment i had
over exposed the shot to burn the number out on the loco, Not happy! |
66713 Passes though Doncaster with 4L78 |
60044 Shorty after arriving into Selby with 6E51 waits to reverse into
the stone terminal. |
Another wider angled shot of 60044 waiting to reverse with 6E51. |
60044 Sits in Selby Potters Group stone terminal photo from local field
next to the line. |
66529 Heads into Drax with a loaded coal. |
47802 47237 Power though Burton Salmon with 5Z47 was this the end i dont
think so.. |
37069 37059 Though Gateforth with 1Q17 in the dull messed the shot up
as you can most likley tell! |
Another close call but i have final got them in sun... 47237 Speeds past
heck with 1Z43 for the Cross. |
37038 Passes Burn with 0Z37 From York to Scunthorpe |
An UID HST passes Burn at some speed heading for Kings Cross |

though passes maurds bridge |
66079 Named shed one of few passes maurds bridge. |
60024 Passes with 6Z06 to Kingsbury. |
Not the ideal shot which i wanted but was nearly northing after getting
word the beast was not on her way a rush job to kirksandall, 6Z37 Hammer
though Kirk Sandall HELLFIRE top thrash for the York Lads. |
The main thing i was waiting for and again i was let down by the weather,
sheet cloud came from the north and just covered the sun as 1Z44 came still
not a bad effort but try again friday i think. |
67014 Heads south on 0G64 to Doncaster |
An UID HST passes south with some speed though the weather was going to
be good for the afternoon at this point! |

60026 seen here at Burn with late running 6D78 coke rain |
60026 Departs Goole with 6D94 late running from Hull to Doncaster, After
picking up the Goole traffic from 6D88 |
60013 Sits in the sun after being down the Glass Factory for less than
an hour being the reason it had not got very far out. |
60013 Sits in Goole glass factory while unloading its train, The sun had
gone in by this point after being out for over 20 minutes but it did give
me the chance to get one shot in the sun even though this was not great. |
The only 60 with a red nameplate.. Unlucky for some but not totaly for
me today, With the weather man saying it was going to train all day this
one was a suprise. |
Nothing exciting to start with, 1Q20 NMT HST passes though Goole in the
Return from Hull in poor light but still worth it for the thrash! |
31602 Ready to depart from Selby to Drax |
31285 Arrives into Selby station with late running 4Q07 |
60035 Follows the DRS 47's though Platform 4 with 6E82. |
Another farce! 67019 67005 Sit in Platfrom 4 off route little did Doncaster
PSB and the driver know it had the wrong route set and ended up going down
the sheffield line instead of the ECML ups, few minutes later it reversed
before going down the ECML to london. |
66714 Goes though Doncaster in the sun on a 4L78 in the sun, Know the
47's were behind this and there was lots of blue sky i was sure i was going
to nail the 47's in the sun, Till there was a problem on 47501 so they put
the train in platfrom 1 with the sun on the wrong side so it totaly messed
the shot up and it wassent much better on return as the weather didnt play
ball there! Try again tomorrow. |
47813 Rests at Doncaster West Yard after moving about 50 meters since
thursday. |
Just a local shot today nothing exciting 66204 Runs round its train 6T62

66725 Yings away in platfrom 11 waiting for a clear slot! |
Sunderland Football Club name plate who would have though it. |
47501 47802 Thrash out of platform 3 with some speed! Not a great shot
but will make up for it next week. |
37606 Thrashes out of York station shame i just missed the clag! |
It all happens at once 37606 sat in platfrom 9 at York in the sun before
thrashing away while the 47's still sit in platform 3 |
47501 47802 Arrived into York few minutes down and departed even later
after a crew change nice to see 47's in the main hall even though couldnt
get great shots. |
After working thw Goole steel all week this one finaly changed but still
followed me seen at York with 6D78 shame it wassent a tug! |
After uncoupling 47826 Ran light back to the other side of the NRM via
York North Yard. |
After a few hours of shunting 47826 took two choaches from one have of
the NRM to the other via Holgate and York Station seen here near the turntable
before uncoupling. |
First shot of the day, Not great but got it later any way 47826 in the
NRM before moving around York, Ta Driver for taking me for the fots |
47528 Sits in a bad state in Doncaster West Yard later joined
by 47813 |
37422 37410 Thrash past Godnow bridge in a lucky path of sun!! |
