Slow start to the month but high amounts of high pressure second week
in give some nice weather and few days off, Which produced a day on
the North West followed the next day by Midlands surprisingly every
train i wished to photograph came in the sun! Thanks You!
Few days later after a jault round the North West was the Great Central
gala clear sky's made life easier being able to just relax and watch
trains rather than clouds while ticking a few loco's off which i needed
on a train, Day later Sunday 13th produced a quick dash over to Winwick
for the ECS return of the previous days spitfire railtour with 37682
37510 also on the way home stopping off at ELR for 37109 37419 both
in action sadly both same in the cloud.
Sunday the 20th and yet more blue skys mad a trip out of North Yorkshire
Moors Gala worth while it is the first time i had been to the moors
in 4 years! Firstly started off with the two morning trips with 47580
and 55022 before heading to Salders House for the afternoon.
Saturday the 26th was one of the quietest in weekends in the month
and with the weather not very promising down in Norfolk give that a
pass for three 60's on my local patch which were, 60035 6E20 60041 6E41
60013 6D03, Even though two out of the three 60's came in the sun 60013
was the only shot that was any decent which was also a new location
for myself which i am sure will be used a lot more in a few weeks time.
